AI automation by industry: where agents can help in your sector
AI automation by industry looks at the repetitive work, systems and rules particular to each sector. These pages explain the tasks AI agents can take on in eight Australian industries, the systems they typically connect to, and the compliance points to design around, so you can see how our four steps would apply to your organisation.
Vermilion Intelligence is an AI and automation consultancy helping mid-to-large organisations in Australia and New Zealand put AI agents to work on repetitive tasks.

FAQ
Questions about AI automation by industry
Do you only work in these eight industries?
No. We work with organisations in any industry. These pages cover sectors where repetitive, document-heavy work is especially common. If yours isn't listed, the same approach applies: find the repetitive work, check the systems and rules involved, and automate where it makes sense.
How do industry rules affect AI automation?
Regulated industries have extra obligations around privacy, record-keeping, advice, safety or payments. Those don't usually rule AI out, but they shape the design: which tasks are suitable, where a qualified person must review, what's logged, and which AI services can be used.
Tell us about the repetitive work you'd like to hand over
Send us a short description of the tasks, the team and the systems involved. We'll reply with an honest view of whether AI agents are a good fit, and what an assessment would look at.
