Ongoing support and maintenance for AI agents and automation
AI agents aren't set-and-forget. Our AI automation support and maintenance monitors what's live, reviews outputs and exceptions, fixes issues, and updates agents when your systems, data, policies or the underlying AI models change. As the first agents settle in, we help you expand automation to the next priorities on your roadmap.
Vermilion Intelligence is an AI and automation consultancy helping mid-to-large organisations in Australia and New Zealand put AI agents to work on repetitive tasks.
What ongoing support includes
The systems around an agent change all the time: a CRM field is renamed, a supplier changes its invoice layout, a model provider releases a new version. Ongoing support keeps agents working through those changes.
It's also how automation grows. Each agent that works well makes the next one easier to justify.
Monitoring and alerts
Checks that agents are running, with alerts when something fails or looks unusual.
Output reviews
Regular sampling of agent outputs and exceptions to catch quality drift early.
Model and platform updates
Testing and managing changes when AI models or connected systems are updated.
Changes and improvements
Adjustments as your processes, templates, rules and policies change.
Reporting to owners
Plain summaries of what each agent did, what it escalated and what changed.
Expansion
Taking the next items on your roadmap from plan to production.
How it works
How support works
Step 1: Handover
Each agent goes live with documentation, an owner and agreed measures.
Step 2: Monitor
We watch performance and exceptions, and respond to issues.
Step 3: Improve
We tune agents as real cases reveal gaps.
Step 4: Expand
We review the roadmap with you and plan the next step.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why do AI agents need ongoing support?
Because the world around them changes. Connected systems get updated, document formats change, policies shift and AI models are revised by their providers. Without monitoring, an agent that worked well at launch can quietly get worse. Support catches those changes early and keeps agents reliable.
What happens when an AI model provider changes its model?
Model changes can alter how an agent behaves, so we test agents against a set of real examples before switching versions where the provider allows it, and watch outputs closely afterwards. Where it makes sense, agents are built so the underlying model can be changed without rebuilding everything.
Can our own team take over support?
Yes. Every agent is documented, and we can train your team to monitor and maintain it. Support can be set up to suit you. For example, we can take on complex changes and expansion while your own people handle day-to-day oversight.
